ENGINEERING SPECIALIST – HEALTH, SAFETY & MAINTENANCE!

At Colective Hospitality, we are looking for a skilled Engineering Specialist – Health, Safety & Maintenance to join our hotel team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and maintenance of our facilities while ensuring compliance with local health and safety regulations.

What will you do?
✔️ Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety programs to ensure compliance with local laws.
✔️ Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits across the property.
✔️ Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
✔️ Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff and external contractors to ensure timely repairs.
✔️ Manage energy consumption and environmental practices for optimal efficiency.
✔️ Lead emergency response efforts, ensuring that safety equipment is regularly inspected and operational.

What we’re looking for:
🔹 Bachelor’s degree or technical certification in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Facilities Management, or a related field.
🔹 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
🔹 Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
🔹 Hands-on experience with maintenance systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
🔹 Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
🔹 Proficiency in maintenance management software.
🔹 Health & Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are a plus.
