Hotel Operations Analyst/Assistant
This professional will be responsible for optimizing hotel operational processes through data analysis and business intelligence, with a primary focus on providing direct assistance to the Vice President of Operations. The role combines data analysis for strategic decision-making with coordination and administrative support to ensure smooth operations and critical project execution.

Reports to:
Vice President of Operations.
Collaborates with:
- Marketing, Guest Experience, Finance, Human Resources, and Technology teams.
- Operational areas such as Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage.
Key Responsibilities:
Assistance to the Vice President of Operations:
- Provide direct administrative and operational support to the Vice Presidency, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and following up on commitments.
- Prepare documentation, presentations, and special reports for strategic meetings.
- Facilitate communication between the Vice Presidency and various operational departments, ensuring the effective implementation of initiatives and projects.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, process, and analyze hotel operational data (occupancy, revenue, costs, service indicators, among others).
- Develop dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to support strategic decision-making.
Operations Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for improvement in operational processes through data analysis and propose corrective actions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and collaborate on the implementation of strategies aimed at efficiency and continuous improvement.
Strategic Project Management:
- Coordinate and track operational improvement projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement initiatives that maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
Business Intelligence Solutions Implementation:
- Evaluate and implement new technological tools and BI systems that facilitate data visualization and analysis.
- Train the team on the use of these tools and the correct interpretation of data insights.
Requirements & Competencies:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- Proven experience in hotel operations, data analysis, and/or executive assistance roles in dynamic environments.
Technical Knowledge:
- Advanced proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, etc.) and data analysis.
- Expertise in advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems (PMS, CRS, etc.) and booking platforms.
Skills & Personal Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate findings and recommendations, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, essential for coordinating executive-level schedules and meetings.
- Proactive mindset, critical thinking, and results-oriented approach.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
